Recycled Materials and Secondary Aggregates

As part of our recycling process we separate out all the individual components. As a result of this process we have the following products for resale:

Wood

All the timber we receive on site is chipped and recycled. Our high capacity shredding facility is capable of shredding up to 80 tonnes per hour, the output of which has a variety of uses including wood chippings for reuse in future wood products, such as chipboard.

Paper and Cardboard

Paper and cardboard is recycled from all skips wherever possible, then baled for further processing. We can provide you with a dedicated container to recycle at any of your sites with regular collections.

Plastics

Most grades of plastics are carefully extracted during our recycling process. It is then baled for further processing with one of our recycling partners.

Metals

Ferrous and non-ferrous metals are extracted using both manual and automated recycling techniques to minimise the amount of metals sent to landfill. These metals are then reprocessed within the One51 Group for further use within new products.

Secondary Aggregates

Mixed concrete and hard core are crushed and screened down to various sizes for application including 6F2 material (Type 2 Crushed Concrete) for temporary road construction, piling mats and other construction uses. These materials can also be used as a sub base for private driveways.
